Books to Check Out

Guess what some folk say is more significant than opposable thumbs as we humans evolve:

STORYTELLING!

Reading actually lights up the parts of our brain that correspond with what the main character is experiencing, and by doing so, strengthens our compassionate responses in the real world.

Which is wonderful news for me, because I like to read.

And I read a LOT.

So I’m adding  this page, where I will write about what I’ve read recently – Fiction and non-fiction.

(Books on brains will get its own special page – so stay tuned!)
